A special packed double month of Amazon Finds for you!! Because, honestly, I forgot in September π #momlife
Matte black modern bed frame
I’m pretty in love with matte black lately. (Aren’t we all?) We have this bed frame in our room and just bought another one or our guest room. (That bed has been sitting on an exposed box spring which is a kewt look). It comes in a variety of sizes and heights (both of ours are the 10 inch height) and it’s really easy to put together β Jeff put it together for our bedroom and I put it together for our guest room. Easy peasy and looks fresh.
Fleece baby booties
Because infant socks are the worst. I have these 0-6 month and 6-12 month sizes. They can be worn with socks underneath or not. Oftentimes I don’t bother putting socks on underneath, but if you do they might actually stay on for once β cheers!
Gallery wall frames
It took us a while to decide what was going to go on our entryway wall. Jeff really wanted a map and I wasn’t into it. I wanted a mural or some abstract modern art and Jeff wasn’t into it. At first when I brought up a gallery wall Jeff was not impressed with the idea, but I got him on board after showing him these frames, how nicely they would fit the space, and how meaningful we could make it with all of our family photos. We also decided to do all of the photos in black and white so it’s way classier than we actually are. You get nine frames for just over $50, with matting, and includes a template to hang all of the frames evenly on the wall! We bought two sets. Here it is in our house…
Amazon Fire Tablet w/ kid-proof case
We aren’t above screen time, but we try to keep it to a minimum during our normal routine. When it comes road trips β bring on the screens! This tablet is an affordable lifesaver. Easy to set up, get movies and games downloaded, etc. Plus it comes in this protector case and has a 2-year warranty, which is helpful because kids.
The first night we showed this to Hayes we thought it would be so cute and she would be so excited, all of which happened. BUT she went to bed screaming “where did Elsa go?” because we put it away. So right now, we only use the tablet on road trips and it goes into a cabinet after the road trip is done. You’ve been warned!
Kid headphones
Please don’t die from cuteness because kid headphones. If you’re going to have a tablet for road trips (see above) you better get yo’ self some headphones too! I like these because they are sized for kids and they have a max volume control so your little one can’t crank it up and hurt their ears.
Hatch Restore
More to come on this one because I want to battle test it before I reallyyyyy endorse it, BUT there is a $30 off coupon (that you clip when you’re checking out) that isn’t going to be around forever so I wanted to give you a heads up.
Sparknotes on what this contraption is. First, it’s an alarm clock that mimics a sunrise to wake you up naturally in the morning. Second, it personalizes and automates your nighttime routine with light and sound β I do 20 minutes of a reading light (to read) followed by 20 minutes of heavy rain noise (to fall asleep easier).
Baby Gaia probiotic + vitamin d
Pediatrician recommended Vitamin D drops for the little one and this one has a probiotic bonus, which is shown to help with colic. I figure it can’t hurt! You can put this directly into their mouth or add it to a bottle.
