Weekly crockpot meal plan tips
Here are a few tricks to keep your crockpot meal prep recipes helpful, reducing the burden of your busy week, not adding to it!
Switch up your crock pot meal prep
Crockpot meals can get a bad reputation sometimes and I get why, many of the recipes that people use for crockpots can leave the dinner tasting kind of mushy and it feels like you’re eating the same thing every night.
Plan the crockpot meal prep recipes for the size of your family
Depending on the size of your family, you might need more food each night or the crockpot meals might be too much.
If you have a bigger family, double the recipe! Out of the recipes I suggested, all of them can be doubled in a standard 7-quart crockpot and still fit.
If you have a smaller family, there are few options. 1. You can half the recipe so you don’t make as much food. 2. You can make the full recipe, eat half, and freeze half to enjoy another night. 3. You can make the full recipe, eat half, and eat the rest for leftover the next day (less meals to plan!) or for lunch for a few days following (so nice to have lunch prepped)!
Don’t let the crockpot meals get the best of you — plan ahead using these slow cooker meal prep tips!
