Miss Mouth’s stain remover and I had a series of wonderful moments this past weekend that totally secured Miss Mouth’s Messy Eater Stain Remover as my absolute favorite product for removing stains!! It was the trifecta of stain removal and I’m honestly not sure how this product did it.
Our youngest daughter, Willa, is in that stage of eating where everything ends up smooshed in her hands before it’s aggressively stuffed into her mouth. As you can imagine, eating something like blackberries leaves a serious mark on her face, hands, and clothes. Somehow she always ends up sitting on a few of the blackberries too.
This weekend I watched Miss Mouth’s stain remover take blackberries out of an oatmeal-colored dress, coffee out of my new white tank top, and blood off our light gray carpet right before my eyes. I kid you not!! I wish so badly I had some before and afters so you could share in the excitement with me! It was my first time using the product after my mom told me, “you have to try this stuff, it’s amazing!” and shoved a spray bottle into my hand. Thanks, mom! (And thanks to her friend, Janice who recommended Miss Mouth’s to her!)
Move over Tide Stick!!! There’s a newer, cuter, much cleaner stain remover in my diaper bag (and in the house, and in the trunk basket in my car, and pretty much everywhere) these days.

What is Miss Mouth’s Messy Eater Stain Remover?
Miss Mouth’s Messy Eater Stain Remover is a nontoxic and surprisingly effective stain remover. The products quickly and safely treat all the stains that come with children (yes, the bm kind too!) And I can definitely confirm it works on blackberries, coffee, and blood.
Miss Mouth’s line of products
The Hate Stains Company created three different Miss Mouth’s Messy Eater Stain Remover options, all of which are made in the USA (you love to see it!).
Spray general-purpose stain remover
This is the first product I owned. The stain remover is in a 4 ounce small spray bottle about the size of a travel hair spray.

Stain remover wipes!
After the success of the spray bottle, they created on-the-go wipes so you can tuck the stain remover in every nook and cranny of your life to avoid ruining clothes with toddler adventures.
Extra strength stain remover spray
I haven’t used this product yet, but it’s basically Miss Mouth’s Messy Eater Stain Remover’s big brother that hits the gym on the daily. More potent and more effective for your tougher stains.
Chateau Spill Red Wine Stain Remover
This one made me laugh! I’m sure it’s a similar product to the rest of them, but if you’re a red wine drinker this seems like an easy addition to your wine cabinet, just in case.
Is Miss Mouth’s Messy Eater a clean product?
The Hate Stains Co. lists out some specifics on their site — the product has no peroxide, no chlorine, no phosphate. It’s pH neutral and 100% biodegradable surfactant. As well as the full list of ingredients (which is only 5 things!): Ethoxylated Alcohol C12-C15 (a 100% Biodegradable non-ionic surfactant), Glycerin, Sodium Sulphite (Food Grade Additive), Ethanol, Citric Acid.
My trusted gauge for a product’s “cleanliness” these days is checking it on the EWG app. And guess what? Just like my favorite shampoo these days, the stain remover is EWG Verified!
Where can I buy Miss Mouth Stain Remover?
Let me tell you what you’re really asking — YES, you can buy Miss Mouth’s Messy Eater Stain Remover on Amazon and have it Primed to your house in the next couple of days 🙂
You can buy Miss Mouth’s Messy Eater Stain Treater from:

Miss Mouth’s Messy Eater Stain Remover reviews
If it isn’t already obvious, my review is overwhelmingly positive from my experience thus far. Miss Mouth has gotten stains out of everything I have tried it on and left the clothes untouched in terms of quality and color.
If you check out the reviews on Amazon or on their website (which is pulled from Amazon), you’ll see that there are an overwhelming number of 5-star reviews, some 4-star reviews, and a handful of not so positive reviews.
You can’t please everyone!
The one negative review that made its way to the top of my “relevant” view said that the spray discolored the black dress that she tried to remove a stain from. The spray did successfully remove the stain, but at the cost of the dress’s color. Which didn’t seem worth it to the reviewer and I can’t say I disagree.
Based on the ratio of AMAZING reviews to not-so-great reviews, I’d say it’s safe to give this product a try and practice some caution around very dark clothes (which aren’t the first thing I’m worried about remover a stain from in the first place, you know?)
Miss Mouth’s is the type of thing you keep every where, because kids!
If I were Oprah, this would be on my list of favorite things. Try it out and keep it in all the likely places for kid-related messes!
